Why target Bhagwant Mann for small clip when Lok Sabha channel shows hours of live video?

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken a strong objection to criticism of its MP Bhagwant Mann, who had put a video of Parliament of India on social media, where one could see security check-posts and places inside the main building.

Calling it cheap politics, the party has hit back asking what was so irresponsible in what Mann had done.

“Showing visuals inside the parliament compromises national security? What kind of a joke is that?” party spokesman Ashutosh retorted when some journalists asked him if the party was going to take action against Mann for the act.

“If putting just two minutes of video of parliament can compromise and jeopardize national security, then both Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV should be immediately closed down. Both of them show video of places inside the parliament for hours!” the former journalist argued.

Ashutosh said that when he was a journalist, he had visited parliament many times and he showed TV news reports of those visits.

“Nobody called me or my videos a security threat. Now what has changed? The government! These are signs of undeclared emergency!” he said.

Many other party leaders have also supported Bhagwant Mann and lauded him for bringing transparency into public life. Many experts too agree that what Mann did was not any threat to national security.

“People can watch roads leading to the parliament on Google Maps and Lok Sabha TV shows visuals from inside the parliament. So what’s the big deal? This is sensationalism at its worst and the media should avoid targeting Mann,” neutral analyst Abhay Kumar Dubey told Junta Ka Reporter.

AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal too has come out in support of his MP and claimed that perhaps Modi was scared that the video of Mann could have recorded video of him and Sonia Gandhi talking secretly inside the parliament.

“First he banned me from keeping my mobile phone while meeting him as he feared that I will make a sting video, and now he is angry with Mann. Modi is coward, aur sab mile huye hain,” he later tweeted.

Kejriwal wave: TalkToAK beats Pokémon Go to get maximum active users

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal’s brave experiment of talking live to the common man through a cutting edge website TalkToAK.com has proved to be path breaking and record breaking.

On one hand it has shown how technology can be used innovatively for good governance, while on other hand it has created new records of traffic and user engagement for a digital product.

According to data released by web and mobile traffic tracking companies like ComScore and Alexa, TalkToAK.com saw huge traffic and user engagement that was never witnessed before for a website or any mobile app.

The website created for Arvind Kejriwal’s answers to questions by the common people broke records of Cricinfo.com when it saw maximum traffic to a single page on the day Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century. Not only that, it also broke record of recently launched mobile game Pokémon Go.

It should be noted that Pokémon Go had already broken records by having more active users than Twitter, but now TalkToAK.com has surpassed the number of active users attracted by the mobile game. Not only that, TalkToAK.com was on its way of overtaking Facebook in number of users when reports last came in.

“This is unprecedented. I have never seen so much traffic for a single event. I think even if there was internet in day of Mahatma Gandhi, even he couldn’t have attracted so many users,” a web traffic analyst told Junta Ka Reporter.

The traffic data shows that the users who visited TalkToAK.com were from all over the world, and not just Delhi, which is ruled by Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

According to sources, millions of users from Goa, Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Odisha and other Indian states were glued on to the website when Arvind Kejriwal listed his achievements as Chief Minister and answered tough questions put by the public.

“Questions were very very tough and even BJP couldn’t have asked tougher questions. I think this sets a new standard for transparency and integrity in public life. If only someone like Narendra Modi can match it,” neutral analyst Abhay Kumar Dubey said.

Due to the high quality of questions and answers, TalkToAK.com attracted users even from outside India. Sources say that even users from countries like Turkey and Iraq were watching the digicast on the website, which could explain why there were no new terror attacks or coup attempts in those countries today.

  • Modi govt denying visa to US citizens wanting to visit Mohalla Clinics of AAP govt

Modi govt denying visa to US citizens wanting to visit Mohalla Clinics of AAP govt

NEW DELHI: In yet another example of vindictive politics being played by the Modi government to deny the state government of Delhi led by Arvind Kejriwal credit for its good deeds, it has now come to light that the center has been denying visa to those US citizens who wanted to visit Delhi for Mohalla Clinics.

Mohalla Clinics were launched by the AAP government of Delhi to provide affordable and world class medical facilities to people, for free. The initiative has won laurels and praise all across the world and has inspired by many foreigners to come to Delhi for medical tourism.

However, sources in the Indian embassy in the United States of America tell Junta Ka Reporter that the Indian government has been denying visa to all those US citizens who mention “medical treatment at world class Mohalla Clinic” as the purpose of visit in their visa application.

“We have got confirmed reports that officials in the Indian embassy have been asked to reject visa of those wanting to visit Delhi for Mohalla Clinics. Modi government is worried that if a lot of US citizens visit the clinics, Arvind Kejriwal’s government will become even more popular and the chances of AAP winning 2019 general elections will become even stronger,” an embassy employee told us on conditions of anonymity.

A quick search on Twitter, Facebook and Quora confirms that a huge number of US citizens are interested in knowing more about Mohalla Clinics and visiting them to cure their ailments, all of which happens absolutely for free at Mohalla Clinics.

“I pray to god that I get a chance to visit India and get treated at Mohalla Clinic. This sounds better than Obamacare,” Robert Vincent, a citizen of New York had tweeted in May last year.

“Can I register for treatment at Mohalla Clinic in New Delhi while residing at New Jersey?” was a Quora question put up by Sean Sanders, who is suffering from blood cancer and sees AAP government’s initiative as only hope.

All these tweets, status updates, and questions are at least 10 months old and the subsequent posts by the users show that these people in need are yet to visit Delhi for treatment. It proves that none of them have been granted visa by the government of India.

This step by the government has been criticized by activists and experts. “More than hurting Kejriwal, this gives bad name to India. What is Modi government smoking?” neutral commentator Abhay Kumar Dubey said.

After Junta Ka Reporter broke the news, Aam Aadmi Party has condemned this inhuman and cheap behavior by the Modi government. “Entire Modi government is coward and psychopath,” Delhi’s Heath Minister Satyendar Jain said.

Mr. Jain revealed that because of such behavior by the central government, he has appointed his daughter to head the Molalla Clinic initiative so that no person in need is denied good health.

“My daughter is an expert of Twitter, Facebook and Quora, and she can track all such requests and help people. It will also help Mohalla Clinics to go international. If the central government doesn’t give visa, Kejriwal government will issue,” the Health Minister announced.

  • Delhi govt delays free Wi-Fi as people may meet accidents while playing Pokémon Go

Delhi govt delays free Wi-Fi as people may meet accidents while playing Pokémon Go

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal led government of the National Capital Region of Delhi has often been criticized for not fulfilling its election promising of providing free Wi-Fi. Opposition BJP has claimed it as betrayal of people. Today, the state government explained why the plan was delayed, and that the delay is actually good for the people of Delhi.

“We were ready to install free Wi-Fi hotspots all over Delhi but Modi government didn’t let us work, and due to that the free Wi-Fi plan was delayed initially,” Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi said.

“But despite troubles created by Modi government, we were ready to make entire Delhi covered with free Wi-Fi signals this month. However we have delayed the decision due to launch of the mobile game Pokémon Go,” he revealed.

Readers should note that Pokémon Go is a virtual reality game that has attracted more active users than Twitter. The game requires users to go outdoors and roam around at various places to catch Pokémon characters, which are cartoon characters.

However many people have reported that users have met accidents or have lost their way while being engrossed in playing the game. Users keep glued to their mobile screen to catch Pokémon, while they are being hit by cars, robbers, fellow users, etc. as they walk outdoors into unknown places.

This risk of getting injured or lost has now led the Delhi government to delay its plan to introduce free Wi-Fi in Delhi.

“We don’t want any aam aadmi of Delhi falling in a manhole or getting run over by a speeding car while he plays Pokémon Go. Now we can’t block this particular game as that will be violation of net neutrality, hence we have decided to delay the launch of free Wi-Fi hotspots in NCR,” Manish Sisodia explained.

While opposition BJP is calling it an excuse to cover up failures of the Kejriwal government, neutral experts have hailed the decision of the state government and slammed BJP for not caring about public safety.

“BJP is like a party of Salman Khan supporters; they don’t care about road accidents. But AAP cares about the common man. I think it is a very wise decision to delay the free Wi-Fi plan till people get bored of playing Pokémon Go,” neutral commentator Abhay Kumar Dubey said.

  • RTI query reveals PM Modi spent Rs 10 crore on mineral water during Navratri fast

RTI query reveals PM Modi spent Rs 10 crore on mineral water during Navratri fast

NEW DELHI: After Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal exposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on spending hundreds of crores of rupees on clothes, now comes the news that PM had spent over 10 crore rupees just on drinking mineral water during his Navratri fast last year.

It should be recalled that PM Modi always promotes his Navrati fasts, where he avoids food and takes only water and sometimes fruit juices. In September 2014 when he was touring US, he refused to have state dinner hosted by the US President because he was fasting. Again, earlier this year in April, there were media reports about his Navrati fast.

Experts have often criticized him for fasting during Navratris but eating normally during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan – a double standard that only causes Indian Muslims to feel even more unsafe.

However, now it seems that the country is not just paying the price of this double standards in shape of communal tensions, but it is proving costly for the nation even from the point of view of state exchequer.

An RTI inquiry filed by Junta Ka Reporter has been answered by the Prime Minister’s Office. We had asked the PMO to tell us the amount of money that was spent on buying fruit juices and mineral waters by the Union Government during the Navratri days ever since BJP came to power.

We received the answer from the PMO and the stats were shocking. A whopping ten crore nine lakh twenty eight thousand and forty five rupees were spent by the union government just on buying mineral water and fruit juices.

“This is shocking,” AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal told our reporter when he apprised him of the situation, “In Delhi, AAP government has made water free, while Modi government is spending money like water. People of this country will punish BJP in coming elections.”

Arvind Kejriwal also asked people to Google “Modi” and “water” together, and claimed that hundreds of pictures showing Modi drinking water or holding a glass of water proved that the BJP government has been spending money like water.

He further claimed that the money used to buy water and juices must be going to some big businessmen of India who own water blocks in Gujarat and Mumbai.

Punjab youth say they have stopped taking drugs after becoming AAP supporters

CHANDIGARH: AAP’s campaign against drug addiction in Punjab is showing positive results. Many young men, who recently started supporting the party, have confirmed that they no longer need any drug after becoming AAP supporters.

“I don’t feel the urge anymore. Earlier I felt there was something lacking in my life. I was low on confidence and I felt nobody loved me in this world. And that’s why I started taking drugs. It took me into a new world where everything appeared perfect,” Manjit Singh, a drug addict turned AAP supporter shared his story.

“Now after joining groups that support AAP, I don’t feel the need to take drugs. I have gained confidence as I feel I know everything, and all the AAP supporters love me,” Manjit added. “I am happy with my new life.”

Dozens others shared similar stories with Junta Ka Reporter, confirming that supporting AAP had obliterated the need to take drugs.

“Now there is no need to join any rehab or dera to get rid of drug addiction. AAP is the best rehab and dera combined,” revealed Ritesh, another former drug addict.

Most of these ex drug addicts were introduced to AAP after they started watching online videos and reading tweets when high. They watched videos of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal singing and millions of tweets by AAP supporters, and they were drawn into it.

“Soon we realized that we don’t need drugs anymore,” Manjit said.

Once they supported AAP either in the real world or somewhere online like on social media, they kept going back supporting the party come what may. The experience was similar to taking drugs, and thus they found a perfect substitute and solution for their problems.

Party leaders have expressed happiness at this phenomenon and have claimed that it showed that only AAP was capable of making India a better place and making people’s lives better.

“We are not even in the opposition in the assembly and we’ve brought this change. Imagine how much change we can bring to Punjab once we have the government here!” AAP leader Bhagwant Mann said.

Assembly elections in Punjab are due next year and Aam Aadmi Party is expected to sweep it.
